    Sony Group Corp. is shutting down Bluepoint Games, the PlayStation subsidiary responsible for developing remakes of video games such as Demon’s Souls.

    Founded in 2006, the Austin-based studio was known for developing high-end remakes of older games, such as Uncharted and Shadow of the Colossus for modern platforms. Sony acquired Bluepoint in 2021, shortly after the successful release of Demon’s Souls on PlayStation 5, and tasked it with co-developing 2022’s God of War Ragnarok.

    Following that game, Bluepoint began working on a “live-service” God of War game, Bloomberg previously reported. But it was canceled in January 2025. PlayStation said at the time that it was working with Bluepoint to determine the studio’s next project.

Once Homepod mini uzerine ciminayla yogun istisareler yaptik... Fakat yakin zamanda guncelleme gelmesi beklenildigi icin beklemeye almistim... Sonra Homepod mininin calisirken fise takili olmasi gerektigini gorunce vazcaydim...

    Bakinirken PT'de Beats Pill'i Apple magazasinin neredeyse yari fiyatina gorunce ciminaya sordum, ozet olarak "affetme" dedi... Yapay zekayi karsima alma gafletine dusmeyeyim diye aldim :P ...

    The AI boom has had a far-reaching negative effect on the consumer industry, with memory shortages driving up the prices of consumer goods by exorbitant amounts. In the next few years, the crisis is only going to get worse as data centers are expected to consume 70% of memory chips.

    In the wake of the shortage, reports indicated that Samsung would hike the prices of all memory components by up to 80%. As it turns out, this can be even worse for NAND, as the company will raise NAND flash memory prices by 100%.

    Why it matters: With executives expecting NAND memory shortages to last until 2035, these price hikes will hurt almost all sectors of technology, including PCs, smartphones, and consoles.

    So, the headline story is that Nvidia has essentially killed off the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti from the market. Asus, the largest Nvidia AIB partner, explicitly told us this model is currently facing a supply shortage, and as such, they have placed the model into end of life status. This means ASUS has no plans to produce any more 5070 Ti models from this point forward. What is currently on store shelves is it from them. No more production of that card.

    Based on current information, the RTX 5080 will now serve as the primary 16 GB model in active production. Hardware Unboxed also confirmed that the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB is suffering from similar shortages and has now been designated end of life by ASUS as well, with production halted. NVIDIA’s allocation strategy reportedly now focuses on 8 GB variants, such as the RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti 8 GB, which remain available.

    Ya bu durum Redmilerde filan da oluyor bazen... Yuklenen sikko bir oyun filan varsa, virus gibi bu reklamlari patlatiyor... Ne oldugu belirsiz oyunlar (sacma sapir venom, spiderman vb oyunlari gibi) varsa silin, bir bakin duzeliyor mu diye...

    30-40% of Nvidia’s GeForce GPU production could be axed. This implies that Nvidia cannot get enough GDDR7 memory to produce GPUs at its current rate. Alternatively, it implies that Nvidia expects significantly reduced GPU sales in 2026, possibly due to rising NAND and DRAM costs and their impact on PC prices.

    "No stock": Samsung raises DDR5 contract price by over 100%

    It appears the super-inflated DRAM pricing is here to stay, as Samsung has reportedly increased the DDR5 contract price by over 100%. This sudden increase has brought the DDR5 contract price to $19.2 per Jukan on X. Citing Taiwanese media reports, Jukan claims that Samsung informed “downstream customers”, or OEMs, that there is “no stock!”.

    Not only has Samsung increased the DDR5 contract price, but the contract price of DDR4 DRAM has also followed suit. Jukan reports that contract pricing for 16 GB of DDR4 DRAM has jumped to $18. So, OEMs and customers looking towards DDR4 memory as a temporary, cost-effective solution may now have to face the same sort of price inflation as DDR5.

    Finally, Taiwanese media also remarks that, contrary to expectations of a gradual pricing decrease, spot DDR5 memory prices have seen even worse inflation in December. DDR4 memory prices are also on the rise, with “no signs of resting”.

    OpenAI isn’t even bothering to buy finished memory modules! No, their deals are unprecedentedly only for raw wafers — uncut, unfinished, and not even allocated to a specific DRAM standard yet. It’s not even clear if they have decided yet on how or when they will finish them into RAM sticks or HBM!  Right now it seems like these wafers will just be stockpiled in warehouses – like a kid who hides the toybox because they’re afraid nobody wants to play with them, and thus selfishly feels nobody but them should get the toys!
